The hot, sexy, insightful, and intelligent Jeff Giles (Popdose), writer of the excellent docu-book, “Llanview In The Afternoon: An Oral History of ‘One Life To Live,’” dropped some insider details to writer Mara Levinsky in the latest Soap Opera Digest issue. Like, the tale of trying to get the two Todds to speak with him for the book. In answer to Levinsky’s question, “If you took another stab at telling the OLTL story, who among the living do you wish you could include?,” Giles deftly showed his journalistic hand with this answer: “I would definitely love to speak to both Todds [Roger Howarth, now-GH’s Franco, and Trevor St. John]. Neither of the Todds would talk to me. One of them was polite about it and the other one wasn’t. I am a Roger fan; I was a Trevor fan [laughs].”
