Previews for the week of 16-Nov-2009
by Carol Banks Weber
- Charlie tries to deal with the untimely death of his son Jared. But it’s hard to shrug off, considering the guilt.
- You think Charlie’s bad off? Look at Natalie, who’s a basket case by now. Jessica can barely make a dent, even though she’s been there and back with Nash’s death.
- Jessica does the best she can to take care of Natalie but it’s tough to watch her twin sister clamoring after Jared’s corpse and wailing words of undying love.
- Beneath all that undying love clamor, lies equal parts guilt and self-loathing, and Natalie deep down inside knows it, knows she could’ve done more to save Jared.
- Natalie’s only comfort can be found in her sweet dreams, where Jared is alive and they are loving each other.
- Mitch acts the part of the Anti-Christ perfectly, as he goads John into nearly a violent end.
- Brody forestalls John from turning Mitch into ashes.
- Rex goes to Roxy with the truth he learned from Aunt Corinne about his real biological dad, Mitch.
- Rex broods about becoming just like his Anti-Christ father Mitch, when Gigi chimes in that he’s different and can make his own life. For added measure, she has him gaze at a sonogram.
- Mitch can have such faith because he truly believes he’s untouchable.
- Charlie finds out where Mitch is being held and goes to kill the monster who killed his son Jared. Viki just happens to be there to stop the homicide in progress.
- For an intriguing reason, Mitch does seem terrified by one thing, Viki’s wrath.
- John and Brody have to physically remove Charlie away from Mitch.
- John reacts negatively to news of Mitch traveling back to California to face charges there.
- Mitch has a guilt-inducing effect on John.
- Not if Marty has anything to say about it; she draws her lover John close to her.
- Natalie barges in on John’s brief contentment to deliver her blitzkrieg on him for causing her to lose faith in Jared in the first place.
- Somewhere in all that vitriol, Natalie comprehends her own hand in Jared’s doomed fate.
- Viki tries to be of comfort to Charlie, who is hating himself for what his son felt he had to do.
- Brody accompanies Jessica to her visit with Mitch at Napa’s police department. There, she tries to shake Mitch down for the purpose to all his violent madness. Mitch remains nonplussed by Jessica’s moral thumping. Brody gives forth his dire consequences should Mitch venture into Jess’s territory.
- Viki triumphs over Dorian in the mayoral race, by one lousy vote.
- Feeling as if he’s the center of the universe, Markko immediately believes he’s that one lousy vote and goes to his girlfriend Langston, hat in hand, prepared to out himself and take her abuse.
- Don’t count the vote in favor of Viki quite yet. Dorian has a few tricks up her sleeve.
- Destiny lets Dorian know that David remained in London to party and forget his tragic love life.
- Schuyler walks in on Kim and Stacy futzing with the fake pregnancy pillow.
- Kim gears up to snag Clint Buchanan as her trophy husband, by first applying to work at his BE corporation.
- Stacy and Kim happen by just as Roxy reams Schuyler for having Gigi be with him overnight, and of course they want to use this gossip for their own personal gain.
- Stacy takes a shot at maneuvering Roxy once more, by using the Who’s Rex’s daddy? card. Ha ha ha, not this time, bitch, Rex was already told.
- Did Stacy intend for Roxy to stay silent about Schuyler and Gigi’s overnight status?
- Natalie discloses to Rex that Mitch gunned down Jared. Roxy overhears, floored because Mitch is supposed to be worm food.
- A certain someone comes calling to see Mitch.

- Dr. Greg Evans hotfoots it over to Seattle as fast as he can for a follow-up operation on Matthew, which he feels will finally do the job.
- Greg reassures Nora and Bo that this time, Matthew will get better. It’ll turn out that Greg’s a miracle worker.
- Greg and Rachel enable Nora and Bo some quality time alone in a hotel room, where they get to making out until they stop themselves.
- Nora and Bo think about what cheating would do to Clint and then, what they did to each other with the cheating and the lies. That stops the making-out cold.
- Matthew says it’s okay for his parents to head back to Llanview to be with family for Jared’s memorial service, go.

- Yet, not even a close cheek-to-cheek waltz can change Todd’s love for Tea, which Blair starts to see for herself.
- Blair gives her approval for Todd to fly over to where Tea is and declare himself to her.
- Blair doesn’t get why Todd is still staying put, when he confounds her further with his intentions to erase Tea from his heart.
- Todd and Blair find themselves in a smooch, but it’s just not the same for him as it could be for her. Blair might be ready to talk about love, but Todd isn’t, Todd’s moved on. This sinks in, so Blair lets go.
- Danielle wants to personally see Matthew off before the two of them part ways. She does and gives him a peck.
- Tea must deal with Ross hammering away about seeing his daughter Danielle. She does by laying down the cold, hard biological truth, that’s not his daughter, it’s Todd’s.
- Ross treats Tea’s announcement like it’s hogwash, then tries to strangle the truth out of her.
- Danielle runs into Todd, neither of them knowing what’s really going on.
- Quickly, Todd determines Danielle’s mom is Tea, so that must mean…?!
- Blair knocks Dorian for a loop, because Danielle is Todd and Tea’s.
- Next week: Markko owns up to his voting for Viki, when speaking with Dorian… Dorian goes for the glory, with both outstretched hands… Dorian triumphs in the end, by the slimmest of margins and fate… Stacy and Kim deceive Schuyler… Schuyler and Stacy strike up a bargain befitting them both… Mitch works out his own sick, twisted angle further… It isn’t long before Todd makes out that Danielle belongs to him, biologically… Tea fingers Ross as the person who put his hands on her, when speaking with Danielle… Danielle gives the police a fib as they’re pulling her from Ross.
